Due to their extended length and specific design, long screws are widely used in mechanical equipment, the automotive industry, electronic devices, aerospace, and other fields. In automated assembly processes, automatically feeding and tightening long screws presents several challenges:
Automatic Blow Feeding of Long Screws:
Long bolts, with their large size and length, increase the difficulty of automatic feeding. The bending of the feed tube and wear from long-term use can affect the smooth delivery of the screws.
Long-Distance Blow Feeding of Long Screws:
Compared to standard screws, long bolts are larger in volume and heavier. Long-distance blow feeding requires higher energy consumption to overcome the bolt’s resistance and gravity. This not only raises production costs but may also impact production efficiency.
Tightening Cycle Time for Long Screws:
Due to the characteristics of the screws, the speed of the tightening cycle is closely related to the performance of the tightening tool.
A suitable screw feeder is key to achieving automatic feeding and tightening of long screws. To meet the automated feeding needs of a wider range of screw specifications, Danikor has introduced step-type screw feeders in three capacities: 0.8L, 2L, and 4L. These cover screw sizes from M2 to M14, with screw lengths up to 110mm. For larger screws (M14–M24), an extra-large step-type feeder can accommodate screws with a total length of up to 250mm, ensuring stable feeding.

Danikor Offers a Complete Solution for Automatic Feeding and Tightening of Long Screws:
For “Large and Long” Screws:
For large and long screws, such as those used in automotive engines (up to M24 with threaded lengths of 225mm), automatic blow feeding is difficult in automated workstations, especially when the feeding distance is long due to workstation layout constraints.
Solution: Use a step-type screw feeder compatible with M0.5–M24 screws for automatic feeding. A lifting distributor delivers the long screws, and a gripper module picks them up and guides them stably into the hole, preventing drops.

Standard Long Screws:
For commonly used long bolts in sizes M5–M8, automatic feeding is more challenging than for standard bolts. Long-distance blow feeding, influenced by workstation layout, further increases the difficulty.
Solution: The step-type feeder blows long bolts through a feed tube to a lifting receiver. A gripper module picks up the screw and monitors its position during transport to prevent drops. Danikor also uses a proprietary feed tube manufacturing process that is both wear-resistant and flexible, preventing wear and jamming during long-distance transport and ensuring smooth feeding.

To address various conditions encountered during automatic tightening of long screws, Danikor offers fixed-current intelligent tightening tools with adjustable torque and speed, and a maximum speed of 1500 rpm, enabling efficient and fast tightening.
Danikor remains committed to continuous innovation in feeding and tightening assembly technology. By deeply studying screws of different specifications and customer application scenarios, and aligning with customer perspectives and needs, Danikor provides reliable automated assembly solutions and services, helping various industries achieve high-quality and high-efficiency development.
